Kayla Redmon
About
Kayla Redmon is a native to Middle Tennessee, being born and raised in Murfreesboro. She attended Riverdale High School, where she was a member of the varsity volleyball team and competed nationally with the DECA Marketing program.
After high school, Kayla attended Maryville College, where she earned her B.A. Degree in International Business. While at Maryville, Kayla was accepted into the ISEP Study Abroad Program, where she had the opportunity to study Spanish and South American Culture in Valparaíso, Chile. Maryville College also blessed Kayla with her now husband, Mac.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Kayla attended the Nashville School of Law, while working full time and attending classes at night. During her time in law school, Kayla was approved by the Tennessee Supreme Court to practice under a limited law license in Davidson County Juvenile Court. With her limited license, Kayla represented parents in child-custody cases who could not previously afford an attorney. This is where she found her passion for family law and advocating for others.
Kayla graduated from Nashville School of law in May of 2022 and joined Garrett Talley & Thorington as an associate attorney in April of 2023. She is focusing her practice on divorce and child-custody issues. Kayla is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association.
Kayla and Mac currently reside in Murfreesboro with their three rescue dogs, Abel, Max, & Bear.
